 Online PMP Certification Courses

Your project management experience will determine if you are eligible for PMI's PMP.
We are often contacted by project managers to ask about the requirements for becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP). The most common question we get is "How do I document my experience so PMI will approve me for my PMP eligibility?"
Every PMI PMP eligibility form Cheetah Learning students completes is reviewed by us. This review is part Cheetah’s 100% passing guarantee for Cheetah’s 0-5 day PMP exam prep program. If the PMI denies your eligibility to become a PMP, then you won't be allowed to take the PMP exam. If they don't meet the eligibility requirements, we can't help them pass the PMP exam.
This is a serious question. We have had people working on similar projects from the same company and in the same jobs. One application was approved and the other was denied. Although it may seem random who gets their eligibility application approved and who doesn't, PMI has requirements for Project Management experience. These are the requirements to be eligible for our online PMP certification courses.
1. It is important to show projects that are not overlapping. You must show projects that were completed at different times, even if you have project management experience for five years.
2. You must have actual experience in project management leadership. This is what causes many problems. There are many project management apps that focus on project task management. As a project manager, you are viewed as an administrator and not a leader. Even though you may be able to work on project tasks or manage projects using these programs, this does not mean that your experience is of the standard PMI requires for those with the PMP designation. We have seen people without the required experience have difficulty passing the PMP exam. PMI does an excellent job screening out people who are not qualified to become PMPs. This includes both the eligibility application as well as the PMP exam.
3. It is important to have people who are able to verify the information that you provide on your PMI eligibility form. Many people who take the PMP have more experience than the required for the exam. You should ensure that someone can verify the PM experience you have.
To discuss your concerns about whether your project management experience is sufficient to become a Project Management Professional (PMP), please schedule an appointment with one our Cheetah Success coaches.
